You can register for the Congress and pick up your participant bag starting Tuesday 11 June, from 1.00 pm to 7.00 pm, at the Hotel Crowne Plaza Corobici in San José

On Wednesday 12 June, registration will start at 7:00 AM. Since we are expecting a high number of participants, we recommend that you arrive as early as possible to avoid waiting in line for a long time and miss the Congress inauguration, which will start punctually at 9:00 AM.

*The field trip registration fee includes transportation, a guided tour by experts in the field and lunch.

In the registration form, you will be asked if you wish to participate in a field visit. The field visit is optional, and its cost will be added to the registration fee of the Congress. Please consult the five different options available here. The fee is the same for all field trips.

Please note you will have the possibility to sign up for a field visit during the event even if you indicated otherwise during the online registration.

The registration fee for participating in this Congress does not include any medical coverage in case of illness or accident or any insurance of any kind. You are responsible for purchasing travel insurance in your country of origin prior to departure or at your arrival on the site at the event. You are also responsible for becoming informed of the policies offered for voluntary insurance by authorized agencies in Costa Rica that would provide coverage in case of illness, accident or unforeseen circumstances, for the duration of your stay in the country.

The Congress Organizing Committee, IUFRO and CATIE reject any liability concerning potential illnesses, accidents or unforeseen incidents of any kind associated with your attendance to this Congress or your participation in a fieldtrip and in any other activity during your stay in Costa Rica. It is the responsibility of the participant and of its accompanying guest(s) to subscribe to an insurance policy providing the essential coverage during their travel and stay in Costa Rica.
