You
can register for the Congress and pick up your participant bag starting Tuesday
11 June, from 1.00 pm to 7.00 pm, at the Hotel Crowne Plaza
Corobici in San José.
On
Wednesday 12 June, registration will start at 7:00 AM. Since we are expecting
a high number of participants, we recommend that you arrive as early as
possible to avoid waiting in line for a long time and miss the Congress
inauguration, which will start punctually at 9:00 AM.
The
International Union of Forest Research Organizations (IUFRO) and the Tropical
Agricultural Research and Higher Education Center (CATIE) will jointly
organize
the Third IUFRO Latin American Congress, to be held in San Jose, Costa Rica
from 12 to 15 June, 2013. Partners in this event are the Ibero American Model
Forest Network (RIABM), FAO and several IUFRO member organizations in the
region.

with several options,
including visits to
a Model Forest, long-term

Pre-congress events include a IUFRO-SPDC
workshop and several meetings
of the various committees of
IUFRO, including the
IUFRO Board meeting and the
Executive Committee of the
IUFRO-WFSE initiative meeting,
and the RIABM Board of Directors meeting.
