Integrated Pest Management"Manejo Integrado de Plagas" (Integrated Pest Management) is a quarterly publication that compiles the most up-to-date studies conducted in the areas of plant protection with a focus on sustainable agriculture, natural resource conservation, and health and safety practices for farmers and consumers. In addition, it selects and disseminates materials to support instruction, research, technical cooperation and development in Central and Latin America and other tropical countries. The papers published are selected and reviewed by experts directly or indirectly connected to the CATIE plant protection area. The main function of this Journal is to serve as an instrument of communication, a forum for discussion and a means to disseminate the results of experience and research. The journal has been published for 10 years and has distributed more than 1000 copies of each issue. The articles are referred to in International Databases of great distinction in the fields of agriculture and sustainable development. The Journal won the Scientific and Technical Publication Award in 1995. This publication is available to professionals in the field as a means to disseminate scientific articles, literature reviews, technical notes, forums, etc.
